Gas Flame Spheroidizing Powder Production Equipment

The working principle of gas flame spheroidizing powder production equipment: spraying a high-temperature flame through a specially designed gas burner according to a set injection angle and flame length,forming a high-temperature flame zone in the spheroidizing chamber. Irregularly shaped raw material powder is transported by carrier gas (oxygen) via feeder and sprayed into the high-temperature flame zone.The powder particles absorb a large amount of heat under burning of the high-temperature flame,the surface of powder particles melts rapidly,and enter the reactor at a very high speed. Under the dual effects of rapid gas cooling and surface tension, powder particles cool down and solidify into spherical powders,and then are collected in the receiving room. 

Most metals and nonmetallic oxides can be spheroidized by the gas flame spheroidizing powder production equipment. This equipment can meet spheroidizing requirements of many special powders as well, such as irregular shaped alumina powder and silicon oxide powder.

The core key technology of the whole equipment is mainly the burner and the burner control system, by controlling the temperature, length, injection amount, injection Angle and speed of the flame and the ratio of combustion oxygen and other parameters, to effectively ensure the energy density of the high temperature flame spheroidization zone and the residence time of the powder material in the high temperature flame spheroidization zone.
